Bookline is a minimalist shelf-lighting armature which is integrated into the book shelf. The armature is fitted onto the front edge of the shelf and is part of the shelf's load-bearing construction.

Bookline emits a controlled and glare-free light that is directed at the individual shelf's content. This creates the effect that the book's spines are emitting light, as they glow without the viewer being able to tell where the light is coming from. Bookline is supplied with a blank reflector and dimming function, as well as a permanent fade of c. 35% due to the TL5 tube's high light output. The book spines are lit at 200 lux on all shelves.

Bookline is wired throughout, and is therefore well suited for building up rows of shelves where there is only one power supply line to the first armature in the row. The armature's wires run unseen under the shelves and are led through wire ducts along the book shelf's column to the floor.

Bookline is supplied in one- or two-tube armatures suited for the shelving module with TL5-21W fluorescent tubes, with a lifetime of 18,000 hours and good colour reproduction. The armature is supplied with a high-sensitivity connection that ensures flicker-free light throughout the light source's lifetime. The armature is in cladding IP20 and isolation KL1, and is CE-labelled.
